After a day at the lake
there's nothing like coming home to some delicous snacks,
some for the kids and some for the adults only.
This dip is a recipe from my friend (wink, wink, Corina!).
It's easy and a great appy to bring to a bbq or serve in the winter at a Christmas party. Most of the ingredients are found on hand (esp. if you grow your own basil).
Here's the recipe:
8oz. light spreadable cream cheese
2 Tbsp. mayonnaise
1 tsp. lemon juice
1/4 cup finely chopped sun-dried tomatoes
1/4 cup basil, chopped finely
2 garlic cloves minced (You may want to add only one garlic clove if you want a little less flavour:)
Mix all together with a beater and chill before serving.
